The Old Girls' School and Plan B

We pride ourselves on looking after the welfare of all our visitors as well as our staff and volunteers. To help keep us as safe as possible and ensure we remain open we have taken the following measures.

To reduce the spread of the virus, we provide...

  • Hand sanitiser stations in the corridors
  • Handwash in the kitchen and WCs
  • An enhanced cleaning regime
  • Reduced capacities/revised room layouts to meet current Government guidelines
  • Appropriate ventilation in rooms and hall

When you visit or hire our venue, we ask that you and your guests...

  • Wear a face covering within the venue - even if just moving around the building. These may only be removed to eat/drink refreshments served on the premises or to undertake exercise activities
  • Give others space where possible
  • Wash and sanitise your hands regularly using the facilities provided
  • Keep rooms well-ventilated by opening windows

Please do not enter the building if...

  • You believe or have been informed you have come into contact with someone known to have the Omicron variant (even if you have no symptoms or a negative test result)
  • You have developed Coronavirus symptoms. Even if you feel well, please remain home until you have had a negative PCR test (a Lateral Flow Test will not give a true reading if you have symptoms).

The main symptoms are:

  • A high temperature
  • A new, continuous cough
  • A loss of or change to your sense of taste or smell

Please note that some of our COVID-19 policies may be in addition to those currently set out by the Government. These extra measures have been taken to ensure the safest environment possible in consideration of the building layout and the vulnerability of some of our visitors.

Thank you for playing your part to help everyone have the safest possible visit.

Please keep an eye on our what's on page of this website or our Facebook page to find out which sessions are returning when. We are following our Covid Risk Assessment.
